I was shocked to hear of David’s passing. We’ve been friends since we were children. I want to extend my deepest condolences to his family. I always thought I would get to see him again but tearfully that won’t happen. We had so much fun as kids. Playing in their yard with all the kids on our street. Sledding on the hill and he was always a friend. We made little hydrogen bombs in their driveway. I’m gonna miss him dearly.

I learned of David’s passing last night. Very sad and unexpected news. David and I went to school together many years ago, and after reconnecting on FB several years ago, we became good friends through our many late night text chats. Occasionally we talked about old times, and making plans to get together for a couple drinks (which never worked out), but mostly we talked about family and life. I will miss my friend. RIP David.

Yes David and his family are like chosen family to me all his children came to my Mom daycare Children World he would call a lest every month or so just to see how I was doing and to find out about some of our shared family friends I too will miss him I have some fond memories of him seems like he knew everybody and made friends wherever he would travel but Wilkes was his home he always told me and how he missed his family and friends here in Wilkes and that feeling was mutual Warren Vogel

I have also just found out and am shocked and hurt by this. We were real close and kept in touch throughout all the years we knew each other. He was one of the last people left that I could depend on if I ever needed anything, no questions asked. He was David no matter where he was or who he was around, he always had a huge heart and a huge time. You will be missed so much David. Rest in peace my Friend, Becky

I honestly had no idea of David’s passing. There was no one as generous as he and he was a friend for life. I will miss our conversations, our calls and just our overall rekindling of our high school friendship.
Rest well, my friend. You truly deserve it!

My sympathy to the family. I never met him in life, but he was in Internet buddy and always made me laugh. I knew something was wrong but didn’t know how to find this, so sorry for the late condolences. Rest in peace my friend.
