
William Paul Schneider II (Billy) was born in Glen Gardner, New Jersey March 20, 1941 to William P. Schneider and Stella Schneider. A few years later, the family moved to Savannah, GA where Billy attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary School, Benedictine Military School class of 1959, and Armstrong State College.
After graduation, he joined the US Navy and was assigned to CVA-65, USS Enterprise, during the Vietnam War. Billy received several awards, and was recognized for outstanding service. After leaving the service, he held many jobs that included nightclub bouncer, hairdresser, jewelry salesman, restaurant maƮtre d, actor/director in several TV shows and movies, and a manager of a furniture store.
He loved animals and adopted at least three dogs during his life, giving them the love and care they needed and deserved. He often made donations to pet rescue facilities to help maintain and feed lost pets. Billy was a very good person who cared for those less fortunate than he.
Billy was a member of St. James Catholic Church and attended mass regularly. A burial is planned for June 26, 10:00 AM at the Catholic Cemetery with Fr. Frank officiating.
