William (Pops) Hugh Rich, 81, of Pooler Georgia passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Hugh was born on February 9, 1940 to Mac and Sadie Rich. Hugh married Rosemary Rich on July 1, 1990, she survives. Also surviving are his siblings Betty Seay, Malcolm (Brenda) Rich, Lynette (James) Manning, Linda Mason Rich, and David (Leanne) Rich. His children Daniel (Debra) Cole, Karla (Mark) Wilson, and Melissa Parker along with grandchildren Amber Murph, Heather (Chase) Atwood, Joshua Edington, Ashley Alpers, Tasha Niccum, Tyler (Rachel) Parker, and Chelsie (Steeve) Bickel along with a host of great grandchildren.

Pops loved to cook, as he did professionally as a sous chef for 20 years at Lady Luck Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas before settling in Georgia. He enjoyed taking small trips with his wife and was an avid sports fan. Pops especially loved when his grandchildren came for visits.

Hugh is preceded in death by his parents, brother in law Wayne Seay, and step son Timothy Parker.

Hugh was cremated as per his wishes. There will be no services.
