William Stanley Hawkins passed away on August 15,2026 in Savannah, Georgia. Born on July 15, 1947 to Herbert and Julia Hawkins, Bill lived a life full of adventure.
After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Bill began a career starting and building businesses. His passion for cars, primarily Jaguars, led him to a successful exotic car restoration business Bill was always competitive, whether it was a high stakes poker game in Las Vegas, a game of pool in Philadelphia or a round of mini golf or corn hole with friends and family. He enjoyed family gatherings and his sense of humor brought laughs and joy to everyone at holidays and celebrations.
Bill is survived by his son Thomas Mihalyo, daughter-in-law Kelly and their children Kyle and Connor in New York. He is predeceased by a second son, Jeremy Mihalyo. Bill is survived by daughter-in-law Christine Mihalyo, three step-grandchildren, Jason, Nick and Tyler in South Carolina, and granddaughter Meadow in New York. He is also survived by siblings, Robert Hawkins and sister-in-law Diane in Arizona and sister Victoria Lukas and brother-in-law Michael in Georgia. Bill is also survived by nieces and nephews-Samantha Goodman, Christian Hawkins, John Lukas and Alex Lukas.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family.
We met Bill only a couple times over the years, and unfortunately did not get the opportunity to know him well (although we can remember his sense of humor).
However, our thoughts of Bill will always be that we’re forever grateful to him for his role in raising and molding a fine son who married our daughter Kelly.
And now we are so fortunate and proud to have his son Tom in our family as our son in-law.
