John M. Donavan of Pooler, Georgia, originally from Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on Feb. 10th, 2024.
John was proceeded in death by his father Richard Donavan, mother Atha Donavan, brother Jerry Donavan and his wife Judy Donavan, granddaughter Kristy Donavan, son-n-law Daniel Yost, nephew Richard Donavan, and best buddy Larry Fox.
John is survived by his wife Judy Donavan; children Mike Donavan of Pataskala, Ohio and Connie Yost of Pooler, Georgia; Grandchildren Ryan and Rebecca Donavan of Pataskala, Ohio, Jonathan and Kim Donavan of Ludowici, Georgia, and Joe and Jen Cheslik of Columbus, Ohio; Great Grandchildren Nate, Chloe, Taylor, Gavin, Carter, Alex, Pheobe, Kaylee, Jasmin, Jaylyn, Carson, Eternity, JaShawn, Zyler, Marcel, and Nora; brother James Donavan wife Karen of Florida; sisters Judy Whipple of Ohio, and Joyce Klema of Florida.
John worked at Lucent Technology for 40 years as a sheet metal mechanic. John loved working in his home, garage shop, fishing with his grands and great grand kids, and four wheeling. But, most of all he loved tractor pulling with his Club pullers. John will be missed by many.
No arrangements are made at this time, a celebration of life may be determined at a later date.

John and I worked in the old Lima Township days in the zoning department. He was always so patient and kind to me.
