Albert Allen Thorpe, age 63, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Select Specialty Hospital/Candler Hospital.
Born in Savannah, he was the son of Joe Sia Thorpe and Jennie Louise Wright Thorpe.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his wife, Emily Mincey Thorpe, his sons, Lorenzo Baker and Johnnie Mincey, his daughters, Tomita Mincey and April Furman, his grandchildren, James, Omar, Aaliyah, Ari, Jonathan and Jayla, his brother, John Thorpe (wife, Jackie), his sister, Gwendolyn Norman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
