Douglas Earl Nelson, age 81, of Savannah, passed away, Monday, January 6, 2020, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held, Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 2 pm at VFW Post #660 located at 5115 Ogeechee Rd, Savannah, GA 31405.

Im saddened tonighr about the passing of Doug. I just found out. I remember him. When he worked at the apartment complex i. Still live at.now. He was a kind and hard. Working man. He always did his work with a smile on his face. I want to give. My condolences to his wife family and. Friends. Rest in peace Doug. You will be missed. May you. Rest in peace

My heart goes out to the family and everyone that has known my friend Douglas . I thought it would have been easier being we knew his health was failing for a few years and gave us time to think, but that wasn’t true for me … I miss him so very much …..R.I.P. my friend , and May God help us all …….
