Mr. Hodges Alvin Lewis, age 82, of Savannah, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Buckingham South Retirement Community.

Condolences for the family of “Hodges Lewis”
We taught together at Irmo High School. I loved eating lunch with him in the school cafeteria. He was such a smart and interesting person.
Hated we lost touch when he moved to GA. He did call me once. I hate I didn’t stay in touch.

I will miss my old friend Hodges. Our visits had been reduced to phone calls as I retired to Baton Rouge, LA and Hodges moved to Savannah. He was a special man and so considerate of others in life. Peace to his family and friends. He will not be forgotten.
