Jonathena LeLani Stark was born on October 23rd, 2017 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. She passed away on May 23rd, 2018 at her home in Savannah. She was born into the Christian Faith. She was preceded in death by her father Jonathan Rivera and her name was a reflection of him.

She is survived by her mother Jennifer Stark, sister Destiny Moore and brothers Jimmy Moore and Ayden Horton; grandfather Maurice John Stark III (Brandy), great aunt, Michelle Caldwell (Jack), aunts Nicole and Amber Stark, uncles Joshua Solomons (Kayla), Johnathan Stark and Maurice Stark IV, cousins Ashley and Malachi & Jennifer’s special friend Kodi Skillings.

Her short life was celebrated with a memorial service at Compassion Christian Church-Effingham Campus in Rincon, Georgia on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018, officiated by Pastor John-Mark Romans with eulogy by great-uncle Jack Caldwell.

The family is grateful for the care given by Dr. Karen Fehr who delivered her and her pediatrician Dr. David Mozer, both of whom practice in Savannah.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for tangible and prayerful support to any cause related to research and prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
