Louis “Leon” Priester Jr., son of Dorothy Priester and The late Louis Priester Sr. was born on January 16, 1956 in Savannah, Georgia.
He attended public school in Savannah, Georgia. He was joined in holy matrimony to Ida Williams on November 9, 1973. He worked with APAC for many years until his health began to fail.
He made his transition into eternal rest on Thursday, December 4, 2014.
Preceding him in death was his brother, Mr. Bobby Priester and his brother-in-law, Mr. Sidney Lee Thomas.
He leaves to celebrate his life a devoted and loving wife, Ida Priester, mother, Dorothy Priester, 4 sons, Peter (Krystal) Williams of Ohio, Lewis (Ruqayyah) Priester of South Carolina, Samuel (Stephaine) Priester, Jermaine (Cathy) Priester, 7 daughters, Etoy Samuels, Anna (Paul) Smith, Elizabeth (Anthony) Powell, LaTosha Williams, ShaQuinta Glover, Chelsey Priester, Jennifer Stephens, 30 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother, Carlton (Lisa) Priester of Rincon, Georgia, 5 sisters, Dorothy Greene Thomas, LaVerne (Willie) Priester, Sherrie (Arthur) Sheppard, Eva Priester, Renee (Charles) Platts, a special niece, Maria McGee, a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
