Born January 7, 1936, in the town of St Michaels on the Azore islands in the country of Portugal.
What a marvelous day on the 30th of January, 2022 was Mommy, as we called her, went to her great reward in Heaven in her home in Guyton with Paulina and Ron by her side.
Preceded in her life was her dear husband, Herculano Amaral, who passed December 4, 1994. They were married over 60 years. Mom had four Daughters, and one son. Connie Davila, Bridgeport Ct., Maria Duarte, Bridgeport, Ct., Linda Sheline (Dave), Arnold Mo., Paulina Jones (Ron), Guyton, Ga., and Herculano Amaral Jr. (Donna) , of New Milford, Ct., twelve grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She had a great love for her grandchildren and gardening with her roses. Mom had retired from the Acme Scissors Plant in Bridgeport Ct. of over 40 years riding the city busses. She will be greatly missed by many family members and friends, Richard Marlowe, Thomas Marlowe, and family.
Services are going to be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM

Avo, I am certain you were greeted at the sparkly gates of heaven. I’m missing you so much. My heart is broken and heavy. I pray your soul is at rest and found Home. Until we meet again my beautiful angel. I’m so fortunate to have had so many wonderful memories and a lifetime of love thanks to you.

My dear sister, you left your mark on this earth with your beautiful children and grandchildren. You are gone from this earth but always in our hearts.

I know that you are in Heaven today and feeling no pain, you were always a wonderful grandmother to me and I will never forget you for as long as I live. I will truly miss the times we had together laughing and joking while watching your favorite show “Family Feud” with Steve Harvey. Please hold me a seat in Heaven and I will see you one day again, Love Donne aka “Bubba Jones” and Lauren.
Dear Mommy,
I’m still in disbelief that your gone I’m like a puppy chasing it’s tail Or don’t want to believe that your no longer here .your mission here on earth has been accomplished and God has come and taken you silently back home we’re you naturally came from home sweet home with the father and the son and the Holy Spirit.
I will miss you so much and will love you forever .
Look at you now dancing in heaven celebrating my Anniversary which was January 30th I will never forget this date where you were sent to that pearly white gate which was on my wedding Anniversary date .
You know me with dates lol, I just never can remember birthdays but this one is a special one “ Oh no this date it’s our date !!!!Every year on 01/ 30th I will be dancing with the woman who gave me life and did her best she could we will be celebrating you home coming into heaven and every year .
tell daddy I love him grandma and and grandpa everyone of our family I love and miss them .
For sure I know you are happy knowing your not alone .
Mommy I love you and will miss you forever .

This is important for everyone to know that Lucy was the daughter of Jose & Georgina Cordeiro Bonito , she is survived by her brother Martin , sisters Hilda Cordeiro, Mary Barboza, Fatima Melancon, Natalie Pereira, Geraldine Martins & Deborah Luiz. She was preceded by the death of her brothers Jose & Alfred. I’m sorry that we never got to know Lucy & her family.

She will be miss Deeply from all of us from grandkids and great grandkids,it must of us hard cause we was not he but did talk to her but not the same thing we all love her in all kind a way like jacob was the one that call her vova luzia get yell at but he love her we all did God bless now you are are other angel up there watch down at us
