Marion Roberts went home to be with the Lord on January 31, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Marion F. Roberts, Sr. and Gladys (James) Roberts and a daughter, Connie Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Bonnie Roberts, daughters Linda Bishop (Tom), Lavoise Butler (Dave), Gwendolyn Arceneaux, and one son D. Ray Roberts. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially sweet Lexi; also by his 3 best friends, Dixie, Bailey, and Kyrie Roberts.
He was a 20+ year veteran of the United States Air Force who worked on and flew on C-123s, C-124s, and C-141s. He was proud to serve his country, retiring in 1973. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Thank you to the wonderful people of Kindred at Home, Kindred Hospice, and Families First Funeral Care & Cremation Center. You all took great care of Marion.
