Mr. Thomas D. Whaley was born in Charleston, S.C. to the late George and Janie
Whaley on August 4, 1929.
On March 29, 2020, Mr. Whaley surrendered to the infinite wisdom and mercy of
the Creator.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters, Thomasina L. Riggs of Savannah, Georgia, Janice E. Whaley and Deborah A. Meachum of Atlanta, Georgia, two sons, Kenneth Spellman and Ronell Spellman, one sister, Louise Morris: eleven grandchildren; Elmore M. Singleton Jr. (Lynett) , Natasha J. Whaley, LaToya R. Riggs, Kimetra Meachum, Kiyania Spellman, Kevon Spellman, Keshawn Spellman, KaLee Spellman, King Spellman, Taiwan Spellman, and Mary Jane Spellman, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
