Richard James Murton, age 81, of Ellabell passed away Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 at his home.
Born August 28th, 1937 in Ohio to John C. Murton and Florence Camp Murton, he is survived by his wife Melva Murton; daughter, Cindy Brockelman; son, Harold “Butch” Murton; daughter, Brenda Norris; sisters and brothers, Madeline Duncan of Oak Ridge, Oregon, Sarah Murton of Ravenna, Ohio, Sally &Carl Singleton of Rootstown, Ohio, Liz Bolster of Hancock, New York, Nancy and Steve Howard of Pembroke, Georgia, Carl Murton of Ravenna, Ohio, George and Mary Lou Murton of Brunswick, Georgia; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Saturday, September 1st, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Families First Funeral Care. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park – West.
Pallbearers: Steve Howard, Jr., Ronnie Howard, Bobby Howard, Hank Howard, Grant Poling, and Glenn Stuart. Alternates: Keith Poling, Robert Wilson and Glenn Stuart II.
