Bobby was a wonderful person and a very close friend of mine. He was member of a group of friends we called The Bud Light Drinking Team and boy did we live up to that on race days. Will never forget the great times we had thru the years I had the honor of calling him a friend. He will be missed by a lot of people here in Savannah. RIP my friend.

Chance,
I met your dad ” Robby Bobby” when started bartending at ISB so about 6 years ago. This is where I grew to love his stubborn, obnoxious, opinionated, (inappropriate at times🤣) loud mouth, annoying, SMART, caring, funny, talented, hard working, social butterfly , love and great taste of music, proud to be an American and his Shinnecock indian heritage.💞 Although I never met you, OOH BOY do I feel like I did and your beautiful family. He showed me pic after pic of those babies and of your family., “bragged” over what you have overcome in life and how proud he was of you being a hard worker, bad a@# tree man” and spoke highly of your wife being in the medical profession as I’m a X-ray technologist. Honestly, I truely feel blessed to have known him ( along with so many at that bar that I have grown to love). Lastly, I will always cherish our (not enough) lunch outings. I saw more then “Bar Robby Bobby” he couldn’t have been more respectful, CALM, social, down to earth, and had love for ALL people. Our lunches were always downtown and he ate up those tourists and they truely enjoyed him to the point they probally never forgot him. I know I will never and I think of him often especially when I hear Pearl Jam and see the SeaHawks play! Sorry for the book but I know he would love this and I bet he’s up there in his work clothes, boots, dirty hat, straggly mullet hair do, smiling shaking his head at me! 🤣😊
Sending love and prayers from Savannah, GA

Condolence from Darlene Goode on December 18th, 2023 9:33 am

Bobby was a huge part of my life and our closest friends in Savannah. I will truly miss him calling me DarleneO and all the memories we shared as close friends. Bobby was a true NASCAR fan and we had gone to so many races together collecting gear and segueing over who was the best driver. He was very proud to have served in the army and spoke of so many stories during his tour. Everyone in Savannah lived his infectious smile and laughter . The biggest sense of humor and unwavering love for his family and friends. To say we will miss you is an understatement. I just spoke to you how can you be swept away . My heart hurts for your sons and all of us. There’s will always be a void . We love you Bob a Lou

Bobby was a good friend. I stayed in touch with him till the end. He and I served in the military at the same time. We laughed and talked about racing. He was a good person.
