Condolences for the family of “Rube Wade Sutton”

Condolence from Shanon Johnson on August 3rd, 2023 2:32 pm

So many memories and ALOT of laughs! From you not being able to find Brenda and I because we were sitting in the wrong truck, to you canoeing behind us with Scott and his broken arm. The laughter was endless. Meeting you back in the 90’s it was quite obvious what a great father, hard worker and great friend you were. You will be missed so much Rube. I’m praying for all of the family who are grieving. Fly high my friend 💕💕

Condolence from Dee and Mike Cruit on August 3rd, 2023 7:12 pm

Rube, was an outstanding carpenter. He had the artistic skill and vision that one would expect from an architect. His passion for creative solutions to unique remodeling challenges and attention to detail are unsurpassed. He was a kind person and a good friend. I will lament that he did not share his yummy corn bread recipe with us. He will be missed but his memory will live on in the may projects he conpleted.

Condolence from Sebrenia (beanie) Hamilton Barbee on August 4th, 2023 8:09 am

My heart felt sadness to all of my family for your loss, all of my memories was from childhood, unfortunately we lost touch after your parents divorced and we all grew into adults and starting walking our own paths in life, that is something I fully regret with my whole heart, I love each and every one of you, I hope life has been good to you all. Tubby was a cute, curious little boy that was able to ruffle feathers and sit and laugh about it, I have so many memories when we were little, I knew when I seen that motor home pulling in our driveway every summer, the fun and happiness was starting. We all not just tubby had so much fun and lord did we all get in trouble lol. I know that grief is a very powerful emotion and you will have it for a very long time, instead of crying, think of a funny memory and then just smile to know you were part of making his life’s journey. His children I never got to meet you, or know you unfortunately but that is no one fault it’s life, cousins finding their own paths and losing contact. But your father was a special little boy so as an adult I am sure he continued on this path of being a special man. Not perfect but special, cause he was to me when he was the happy little boy I remember. Tubby I love you always, fly high cousin, look up all family members, uncle Charlie and aunt Wilma is leading the family reunion in heaven. I will be there when my work on earth is done, hopefully sooner than later. Parents hold and hugs your kids, that is most precious thing you will ever achieve. Love you all and tubby I love you, see you later cousin.

Condolence from Melinda Brodsly on August 7th, 2023 8:41 pm

My heart is filled with sorrow since I learned of Rube’s (Tubby’s) passing. As a first cousin I remember Tubby as a child and was kept abreast of his life through his sister, Diane.
I extend my deepest sympathies out to his children and siblings. The pain will slowly dissipate but he will live on in all the stories shared.
Much love to you all!
Cousin, Melinda Brodsly
