Tina Rae Johnson,aged 51,passed away unexpectedly at her home January 20,2017.

She was born on February 25,1965 in Savannah,Georgia. She was the daughter of Patricia Sturgess and the late Alvin Murray.

She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her family was her biggest achievement. She loved and admired her mother, Patricia Sturgess. She was her hero and best friend. She was thankful to have Derek Murray, Daryl Lanier and Kaylee Lanier as her siblings. She was also very proud of her four children Amber Smith-Segura and her husband Rogelio Segura, Joel Sturgess and his wife Jessica Sturgess, Hannah Davis and her husband Kevin Davis, and Dakotah Johnson. They meant the world to her. She was blessed with five grandchildren , Kayleb Segura, Joel Sturgess Jr, John Sturgess, Joshua Sturgess,and Jonah Sturgess. She also has many cousins and dear friends that she loved throughout the years.

Anyone who knew Tina knew she was a fun and free spirited person. She was very caring and loving person. She was also an animal lover. She will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 30th, 2017 from 10 am until 11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1200 King George Blvd., Savannah, GA 31419. Funeral Services will follow at 11 am at the church. Burial will be at Greenwich Cemetery.

My prayers go out to the family. I didn’t know Tina for that long. Little over 10yrs. Teddy was with my sister Amy and that’s how I came to meet her but she was the sweetest person and would help anybody even a stranger. I can’t believe she’s gone she was so young. Fly high Tina you’ll forever be missed by me and Amy.
