Joseph William Grooms, while in the care and comfort of Hospice Savannah, departed this life on Wednesday, June 12 at 3:16 am.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons Thomas Joseph Elijah Grooms of Oklahoma, Jacob William Grooms of Savannah and Oklahoma; daughters, Katrina Dawn Spoon, of Texas, Jennifer Michelle Spoon of Oklahoma, & Daughter-in-Law, Amy Grooms and grandsons, Peyton Montana Grooms & Elijah Santana Grooms of Oklahoma; his beloved Mother, Bette B. Grooms of Savannah; his older brother Thomas L. Grooms,III (Brynda) of Savannah; and his sisters Joy Southern-Broxton of Augusta & Janice Grooms Humphreys of Savannah as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 11:00 am at the Islands Community Church, 111 Walthour Road on Wilmington Island.

Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416. Food and Flowers may be delivered/sent to his beloved Mother, 48 Runabout Lane at Betz Creek.

Robert Joseph Rushford, age 33, of Pooler, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 under the care of Hospice Savannah.

Laura Ryles Morrison, age 49, passed away on Tuesday June 4th, 2013 at UPAC of Savannah on White Bluff Road.

A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of Mary Knight Suchower and George T. Ryles, Jr..

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Morrison and Companion, Ellis Godwin, Laura is survived by her mother, Mary Knight Suchower (John); father, George T. Ryles, Jr.; daughter, Liza M. Wallace (Jason); 2 sons, James L. Ryles and Michael Morrison (Allison); 2 sisters, Sheila R. Ford (Don) and Susan Lingenfelser (Billy); a brother, George T. Ryles, III and step-brother, Robin Ryles; 7 grandchildren, Autumn, Hunter, Ann Marie, Damian, Emily, Mary, and Jazilyn; a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 12th at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Richmond Hill.
