Jeannette Barbara Archer was born on 14 September 1940 in Trinidad and Tobago to George Archer and Salomie King. She attended Newtown Girls RC school and Duke Street E.C. school.

Jeannette worked as a Cleaner (Janitor) at St Agnes Anglican School from 1976 to1991 where she was adored and loved by all staff and students.

Jeannette migrated to the United States of America in November 1991, where she lived in Brooklyn, NY and worked as a babysitter for Patricia Hinds caring for her two children Catherine and Taylor. Jeannette began her career as a Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide in May 1993 with Partners in Care, where she worked until December 2003. On November 17, 1998, Jeannette received the Esprit Award for her commitment to the Value of People. Jeannette lived in a few states and moved to Georgia in December 2010 where she lived until her passing on 24 August 2022.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Winston and George.

Jeannette is survived by sister Ann Annetta; Brother Ricardo; Children: Genevieve, Patricia, Carl, Clive Christopher, Karlene (Ronald) and Daniel (Angile). Grandchildren: Patrice, John, Anthony, Nishon, Kevin, Nathan, Simone, Andre, Nyamka, Shammel, Tremaine, Aysia, Afiya, Jadel, Christopher Jr., Josiah, and Logan. Great Grandchildren: Sadiq, Strawn, Anthony, Alexi, Sadiah, Suri, Sabir, Khaliq, Whatshername, Marcello, Aaron, Lily, Ulanni, Amir, and Samik. Aunt of Derek, Esther, Esla, Allison, Sheldon, David, Kershelle, Kerlisha and Ronnel. Cousin of Ruby, Ira, June, Kabirah and many others. Great Aunt of many. Friend of Helen, Joycelyn, Marilyn, Sherma; Anna; Liz, Sherla, Julie, Elizabeth, Mary, and many others.

A public viewing for Jeannette will be held at Restoration Worship Center, 7446 US Highway 17 South, Richmond Hill, GA 31324 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church , 16525 Highway 144 East, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
