Brenda Joyce Taylor, age 71, of Port Wentworth passed away on Tuesday April 2nd, 2014 at her daughter’s residence in Douglas, Georgia following an extended illness.
Mrs. Taylor was born on April 11, 1942 in Maryville, Tennessee to the late Zirkle Paul Brackett and Ethel Mae Sitzler Brackett.
Survivors include: her daughter, Teresa Hart Hutcheson (Michael) of Douglas, son James Thomas Taylor, Jr. of Alma, brother, Steve Paul Brackett of Savannah, three grandchildren, Jeremy Taylor (Heidi) of Alma, Justin Hart (Abby) of Ambrose, and Matthew Taylor of Douglas, five great-grandchildren, & several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday April 7, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Families First Funeral Care. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Families First Funeral Care, with Pastor Dean Robbins officiating. Interment is to follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park – West.
