Catherine Polite, also known as “Ms. Kitty”, age 86, of Savannah passed away Tuesday, February 28th, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born in Allendale, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Otis Polite and Louise Polite. Ms. Polite was a lead cook and Manager Senior Citizen’s Inc. and retired in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Marion Chiles and Sandra Chiles who both were from Hardedville, South Carolina.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela P. Lewis of Savannah, Georgia, Mildred Scott Arthur of Ridgeland, South Carolina, Valerie Chiles Bennett of Savannah, Georgia, her son, Douglas Chiles of Stanford, Virginia, and number of other relatives and friends..
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at 11:00 am in Magnolia Memorial Gardens, 5530 Silk Hope Road, Savannah, Georgia 31405.
