
Craig Stewart Taltavall, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in Savannah, Georgia.
Craig was born to Richard S. Taltavall and Gerda Fischer Taltavall in San Diego, California on April 3, 1963. As a U.S. Navy child, Craig lived in Hawaii, Panama Canal Zone from 1972-1981, Alaska, Orlando and Clearwater, Florida, New York, Inverness, Florida from 1990-2016, and Pooler, Georgia from 2016-2022. He attended college in Orlando, Florida and Ocala, Florida.
Craig’s passions in life were family, friends, traveling, music, cooking, reading, studying history, fishing, boating, swimming, and going to the beach. He was a Panama Canal Zonian and loved growing up in Panama.
Left to cherish his memory is his life partner, Jennifer L. Campbell; his son, Talon N. Taltavall; his daughter, Brittany M. Taltavall; his two granddaughters, Adison Taltavall and Cambrie Canfield; and his stepbrother, Wiley Dickins.
Craig was preceded in death by his father; his mother; his stepfather, Captain Richard A. Dickins, USN; and brother, Mark Cox.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation in Craig’s honor to the American Heart Association.
A celebration of life will be held, to be announced.
