Offer Condolence for the family of Dennis Keith Parris

I would like to express my sincere condolences to all the Parris Family, especially Joe and Debbie who are my best friends ever. I see the total resemblance in Denny and Joe. I’m just curious if Denny was the talker like Joe, because Joe and I are very talkative and we both seem to have a lot of stories to share so I imagine Denny was probably somewhat the same way even though I never had the privilege to meet him that I know of. I didn’t know that he was a firefighter even though I am friends with many law enforcement and firefighters across Virginia. I Can Only Imagine that he is celebrating with Jesus right now and they both are reflecting on how many times then he said the firefighters prayer it is the most beautiful prayer of all.
I asked God to bless his wife and all the family with his awesome peace and comfort which is the sweetest of all.
In his hands we remain, until Jesus returns!

Lynn, My heart goes out to you at this time. No one can imagine what it is like to lose your spouse until they experience it theirself. You were a faithful caregiver and you gave your all. Let that comfort you in some way.

“The Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction” (2 Corinthians 1:3–4, ESV).
We’re so sorry for your loss. Our hearts go out to the entire Parris family, especially to Lynn. Our heart aches for Joe and Debbie our dear friends that introduced Fred to Denny. I had several conversations with Denny over the last several months and he affirmed to me his commitment to Christ. Even in our last conversation he was telling me how much he loved Jesus, and he looked forward to seeing Him. I am thankful to know today he is standing in the presence of his Lord and Savior whom he asked to save him. We pray that others will seek Jesus as Denny did.

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Danny. I had the privilege of working with him at Naval Station Norfolk for a number of years. I enjoyed my time with him and we shared some good moments.
My prayers are with the family at a time of loss. Danny was a great man. I surely miss him because I have not seen him or heard of anything of him until reading this post. May God be with you all, God bless.
