Frankie Mae Williams (nee Jones) passed away on February 19, 2024, in
Savannah, GA at the age of 67. She was born on January 18, 1957, in Savannah, GA to the
late Frank and Leona Jones.
Frankie had a successful career as a Registered Nurse, working at Memorial Medical Center,
Georgia Regional Hospital, Candler Hospital, and several nursing homes in the
Savannah/Thunderbolt area. She held a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Armstrong
University.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Williams, and their two sons, Kenneth Lamont Williams
and Michael Tyrone Williams. Frankie is also survived by her brothers Edward F Jones and
Jerome (Segried) Jones, Aunt Pecola Whipple, two grandsons Rashad Williams and Denzel
Aiden Williams, best friend Louise Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Leona Jones, and her siblings Kathy Perkins, Faye
Young, and Mary Jones.
The family will have a Celebration of Life for Ms. Frankie Williams at Western Sizzling Buffet,
230 Highway 80 E, Pooler, GA 31322 at 12 o’clock.
