From – Gordon Perry / husband of Kimberly Kay Perry. Married December 26th, 1987.
Kimberly was called home by the Lord at 6:45 pm on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 with her husband Gordon of nearly 35 years by her side along with her children Dale and Michael and other family and friends. Kimmie, as she was known by those closest to her was a devoted wife, soul mate, mother, homemaker, and animal activist. An honors graduate from Savannah Christian her talents and skills were many. A great cook, home schooler and animal rehabber whose skills would rival those of the veterinarian establishment that she once hoped she would become a part of.
Always and forever a beach girl, she was a wonderful mother who was fiercely protective of not only her children but all who needed a kind word and a push in the right direction.
Perhaps her greatest talent and stage where Kimmie shined brightest was her uncanny abilities
In the world of women’s fashion. It is here that she would find her muse and greatest joy. Her yard sales were legendary and Kimmie, who would later be known as “The Yard Sale Queen”, thrived when she made the rounds to local thrift shops, Goodwills, second hand stores and antique shops buying and selecting items for her many regulars who loved her and looked forward to their times together talking and ministering about life and the Lord. Survivors include husband Gordon, children Dale and Michael, brother-in-law Robert M. Perry, mother-in-law Barbara Perry, one aunt, Suzanne Bailey, and several nieces and nephews.
Family asks that donations in her memory be made to wildlife rescue / animal adoptions or your local humane society.
