A Time to Mourn
On Wednesday, January 26, 2017, Laura departed this Earth.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jackie Gordon. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband of 22 years, Clayton L. Williams of Savannah; her father Charles Gordon; three daughters, Victoria, Talayjah and Amani (Libby) of Savannah; five sons, Clayton (Seattle, Washington), Christopher, Jacob, Justin, and Hezekiah of Savannah; three stepsons, Raymond, Michael and Nathaniel; six grandchildren, Raijon, Jakayla, Journee, Rameer, Evalyn, and Elizabeth; two God-daughters, DayJah Fanning and Daijha Porter; one sister, Kimberly Aguilar (Bernard); three brothers in-law; one sister in-law. Mother in-law, Evangelist Dr. Rita Herring; father in-law, Deacon Elisha Herring. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I worked with Jackie for years at Sea Island and have never known a finer person. I knew Laura only in passing but it was my pleasure to know her under any circumstance.
