Margaret McCoy Watts, 72, passed away on December 19, 2019, at Hospice Savannah in Savannah Georgia. She was born on July 22, 1947, in Marietta, Georgia to Edgar McCoy and Kathleen McFather (John).
Margaret grew up in both Marietta and Savannah. She graduated from Jenkins High School in Savannah in 1965. After high school, she attended Memorial Nursing School in Savannah, Georgia, where she received a Nursing Diploma. She worked for Candler Hospital as a labor and delivery nurse where She worked for over 30 years.
Margaret married Jack Watts of Savannah in 1969 and were happily married for 8 days shy of 50 years. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her mother: Kathleen (John) McFather of Powder Springs, GA; her sister: Marie (Kenny) Walker of Powder Springs, GA; her children: Daina Lloyd of Millen, GA; David Watts of Savannah, GA; Jonathan (Kara) Watts of Knoxville, TN; and Sean (Brandy) Watts of Bloomingdale, GA; and her grandchildren: Matrim, Emily and Brenna Lloyd; Noah and Hunter Watts; Sierra Heins and Maggie Watts.
A Memorial service will be held at Morningstar Community Church, 2836 US Highway 80, Bloomingdale, Georgia at 1:00 p.m. December 28, 2019. Friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Morningstar Community Church, 2836 US Highway 80, Bloomingdale, Georgia.
