with our deepest sympathy me and Jose will miss Marie so very much-will miss when she and you and Sierra came down to visit-had many adventures with her and will keep her memory in my heart forever. Hope to see you and Sierra soon- always welcome to my home.
Hello Barbara,
You will not know me so I apologise for contact you. I was a boyfried of Marie’s in 1965 back in England where we both lived in Whitehaven on the Cumbrian coast. As you can see from my condolence message I found out about her passing almost a year after it happend. I had been in email correspondence with her several years ago but lost contact when she had difficulty typing. I hope it’s not too much an imposition for you but I would very much like to know about her later life in Savannah as there is no one left of her family or firiends in England to contact.
Thank you

Great, great sadness to hear this news. My memories of Marie go way back to when we were both teenagers back in Whitehaven, Cumberland in England back in the early 1960’s. We dated for several months in 1965 and then went on our different life’s pathways. I will always remember the way her face lit up whenever she smiled and the outings we went on in my tiny Austin Healey car. Happy, precious memories.
