
Milton Loyd Hepner (Mel), 75 of Rincon, GA passed away on November 24, 2023. He was the son of Chester and Ruby Hepner of Durango, CO. Born May 11, 1948, in Farmington, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: David and Raymond, granddaughter Sarah, great-granddaughter Izzy.
He leaves behind his loving wife Judy, daughter, Shawna (Tim) McDaniel, son, Milton Jr. (Krystal) Hepner, both of Rincon, GA; grandchildren: Carrie (Bryan) Lowe, of Gibson, GA; Theresa (Gary) Austin, of Rincon, GA; and Alek Hepner of Craig, CO.; great-grandchildren: Mallery, Murphy & Tyler. 4 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren. He also leaves his very special brother and friend James (Liz) Hepner of Beverly Hills, FL.; sisters Maryann (Jake) Moss, Joyce Marshall, and brother Ron Hepner all of Aztec, NM.; brother-in-law Don (Emilie) Olbert of Grand Junction, CO. and sister-in-law Debbie (Marvin) Vaughn of Durango, CO.; Aunts, Uncles and many Nieces and Nephews; along with dear friends old and new.
Milton served in the Army stateside during the Vietnam war, he retired as a machinist in the oil field in Farmington, NM after 35 years, and worked as an electrical associate at Home Depot, Pooler, GA. For 9 years. Milton was an active member of the Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Pooler, GA.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 1755 Quacco Rd., Pooler, GA, by Pastor Brian Pechman at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at VENMO@Judy-Hepner-2
