My dear sweet Niece, Misty. I love you like a daughter. You were always a bright star in my heart and I will miss you dearly. When you worked and helped me with business in 2019, I looked forward to every car ride, inspection, lunch and talks we had. When you always hugged me, Mike and Cathy every day before you left, you always told me “It will be Okay.” You never complained, except about the bad headaches. You were very brave and always kept a happy smile and positive attitude. You were always worrying about everyone else. You loved your German Shepherd VERY much. I always made sure I had chocolate at home, and we had some every day! I love you, Baby Girl. Be happy with your family in Heaven, and keep a spot saved for us left behind here.

Misty was like a second mother to me growing up. I was always spending the night with Maranda and she always indulged us. It is with the heaviest of hearts that I offer my deepest condolences.

I had the pleasure of meeting Misty during new hire at IP. She was such a sweet kind hearted person. After some time chatting, she heard my last name and we discovered she worked with my father at DCB. She thought the world of him! It’s unfortunate I only got to know her for such a short time. Rest easy Misty.

Misty, what a wonderful and amazing young lady. Always pleasant, always helpful, full of joy. We all loved her. It has been, and still is, a distinct pleasure to call her a friend. She is one of those folks that whenever you think of her, puts a smile on your face. Thank you Misty for all your kindness. You will be sorely missed. My wife and I give our thoughtful prayers to her family. May God help you through this time and bless y’all sweetly.

I miss you dearly Mama. You may have been my step mom but you more than earned the title Mama and mema. I don’t recognize this world without you in it still. You were right about everything and I wish I could tell you that and that I love you and kiss your face. I don’t know if I can make it without you.
