On Wednesday, March 19, 2014 as the trumpet sounded, having fought a good fight, finishing his race, the Lord said unto to him, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.’ Francis Elmer Price traveled in the footsteps of those who have gone before and has been reunited with his loved ones on a new sunlight shore.
Born to the late Francis Price, Sr. and Pauline Price on January 10, 1936 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, he was the first child of five children(three girls and two boys), They all have preceded him in death.
Francis received his elementary and secondary education in the Bridgeton, New Jersey school system. Immediately following school, Francis entered the United States Army and serve in the Korean Conflict War. Francis became a Staff Sergeant while in the Army. After his military service, he joined the Construction Union. Francis was a labor manager. He helped construct the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and water plants in Niagara Falls, New York. He was employed at Hope Creek Nuclear Plant in Salem, New Jersey where he retired in 1994.
On July 16, 1971, Francis was joined in Holy Matrimony to Redell Ball for forty-two years. To this union a child was born, Veney F. Price. The couple was blessed with other children, Russell Price and Vincent Price (deceased).
“Fran” and “Re” greatest pleasure was traveling. They have traveled and explored all across the United States, Nova Scotia, Canada, and several islands. He was a very active member of his military club, “Friends of Distinction”. He received his “50” year membership certificate for 50 years of outstanding achievement.
Francis Price. Jr. leaves to cherish his legacy of love, a loving wife, Redell Price of Richmond Hill GA, two sons, Russell Price of Rochester, New York and Veney(Sherri) Price of Pooler, Georgia, three grandchildren, Michael Fiorini, Veana and Cherish Price and an aunt Eleanor(Gilbert) James and a host of nieces and nephews.
