Ronald Burger was born in Chicago on October 15, 1949. After coming to Savannah, he did house painting and odd jobs and married his wife, Peggy.
He was a member of NAMI and Reed House. He wrote unpublished poetry and unperformed plays. He was a gregarious man with a positive attitude, and he overcame many difficulties.
His mother, father, brother, sister and possibly half brother are all deceased. He is survived by an adult daughter and his wife, Peggy, who nursed him devotedly during his long, final illness. He died at home, age 67.
The funeral will be at Trinity Lutheran Church at 11:00 on Thursday, February 2nd. It will be followed by a luncheon.
