Seren Umbenhower

It is with deep sorrow to announce the death of Seren Marie Umbenhower. Seren passed away unexpectedly on October 19th, 2023.

Seren is survived by her parents Earl and Lianne, brother Mckade, Grandmother Meridee, beloved partner Michael, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family, many close friends, acquaintances, and her dog Hendrix.

Seren portrayed herself in her own quote “I am unusual girl with a chameleon soul and love for culture, experience and art.” Seren was an adventurous, God loving spirit with a love for nature, animals, music and travel. She was a beautiful person inside and out.

She lit a room with her contagious smile. She was known for her kindness, generosity and compassion; touching and impacting the hearts with everyone she came in contact with.

Seren had an incredible artistic talent that included painting and drawing. Seren also wrote stories, poems and songs.

Seren you will be forever in our hearts; deeply loved and missed–until we meet again.

Celebration of life services will be announced at a later date.

There will be a celebration of Life for Seren April 20th, 2024 at Arbor Lodge in Nebraska City NE at 11:00 a.m. in the Lied Center.
