Sheila Crouse Kennedy, 62, transitioned May 8, 2023, at Memorial Health.
Sheila C. Kennedy was a dynamite, you know what they say, a dynamite comes in small packages. She was a dynamite that you couldn’t help but love. Basically, to know her was to love her. Her laugh was so contagious, and she was always laughing even through all her pain and stress. She was someone who would give you her last dollar and the clothes off her back. She would go without making sure everyone else was happy and taken care of, especially, her children Scott Lail (43), April Lail (37), and Amber Lail (37), (Christina Lail (44), and Megan Lail (31). She was a wonderful person and had the biggest heart of gold. Even after leaving this earth, she isn’t done giving more than she has, her legacy will stay here with us, not only through her children, but she has donated her organs which gave the lifesaving gift of a liver and 2 kidneys to 3 transplant recipients. She may not have worn a cape, but she was always our hero.
We miss you very very much mom. You’re gone but will never be forgotten. You’re my heart and will always and forever be loved.
Visitation will be held at Families First Funeral Care on May 26, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The funeral service will be held at Families First Funeral Care Chapel on May 26, 2023 at 2:30 pm.

Ms. Kennedy was a person that was easy to get along with. Always seemed happy even though the tough times. She will be missed greatly and always remembered.

My dearest sweet cousin I know your resting in the arms of Jesus. I will miss our conversations over the phone and cherish all the memories we made. I pray that your children, grandchildren, and Janice all find comfort in knowing your helping God watch over us. Sending hugs all the way to heaven with the comfort of knowing your there. Keep those golden gates shining until I get there.
