Print This Obituary & CondolencesEsther Watson Powell was born on December 11, 1961, in Nashville, Tennessee to Mr. Eric Dean Watson and Mona Karolyn Bryd.
Esther received a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 1998 from Clayton State College. She practiced nursing at Memorial Health University for over 29 years and obtained her CCRN for critical care work while being employed there. Prior to working at Memorial Health University, she worked at Medical Staffing Network in Springfield, Virginia as a travel nurse.
Esther was a fun loving very caring person and everyone who knew her loved her. She fed the squirrels and many types of birds: doves, blue jays, red birds, and others.
A Peregrine Falcon and Cooper’s Hawk came to her bird bath on numerous occasions. She was a vegetarian and did not want people to eat meat as she was a true animal lover.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents Eric Dean Watson and Mona Karolyn Byrd.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by her husband Myron Avoriett and brothers John Watson and Dean Watson.
Esther will be missed by all who know her.
The memorial service will be held at Families First Care Chapel on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

2023, at the age of 76.
Anne was born on November 25 th , 1947, in Savannah, GA, to William and
Henrietta Trotter. She grew up in Savannah with her brother, William, who
also passed away in 2023. She attended St. Ann’s School for Girls in Boca
Raton, Florida, and later studied psychology at Armstrong Atlantic State
University.
Anne had a huge heart and a long history of helping people and animals.
She was strongly rooted in her family’s immigration story and sponsored
several families on their journey to US citizenship after the war in Vietnam.
Over the years, many stray dogs and cats found a loving home with her.
She was an artist talented in multiple mediums and had a passion for
gardening. As an ardent supporter of organic farming, she was a dedicated
and well-loved member of the staff of Heritage Organic Farm for 10 years.
Along with her packing house responsibilities, she researched, designed and
assembled the worm composting system used there.
She is survived by her niece and nephews: Alex Trotter, Rosalind Trotter,
and James Trotter in addition to six grand nieces and nephews. Her beloved
dogs, XuXa, Cookie and Evie have become part of James’ family in Oregon.
Anne’s cremains will be buried in the Trotter Family plot in Bonaventure
Cemetery, Savannah.

Print This Obituary & CondolencesJill Yvonne Cadman was released from her suffering from end stage liver disease on January 1, 2024, at Hospice House in Savannah, Georgia.
Ms. Cadman was born on December 6, 1959, in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Carl and Jackie Cadman. Jill’s early years in Western Pennsylvania gave her a fondness for the outdoors and special gatherings with friends and family which continued throughout her life.
Jill earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Armstrong College and enjoyed many years working in a laboratory setting. Later, she completed the technical training course and received her certificate as an Aircraft Assembly Technician at Savannah Tech. She worked in that field until her battle with breast cancer began.
Jill loved plants and loved filling her yard and home with beautiful flowers and interesting botanicals. She also loved hosting family and friends for holidays and barbecues.
Jill was preceded in death by her father Carleton Raymond Cadman, Jr. and her mother, Jacqueline L. Cadman both of Hinesville, Georgia, her son Randall Douglas Parker II of Guyton, Georgia and her older brother Stephen W. Cadman of Bloomingdale, Georgia.
Jill is survived by two siblings Mark D. Cadman and Amy D. Orellana (Frank) both of Savannah, Georgia; two granddaughters Destiny Kellner of Camden, South Carolina and Georgia Wilson of Brooklet, Georgia; two great grandsons Dylan and Christian Gonzalez of Camden, South Carolina; and three nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 10 am, at Families
First Funeral Care Chapel located at 1328 Dean Forest Road Savannah, Georgia.
Reverend Matthew Burt of Independent Presbyterian Church will officiate.
